Admissions Notification- 2008----- Admissions are open for the academic year 2008-2009

IIHMCA has once again demonstrated its culinary edge over all other institutes by agging the first place in bakery/pastry category in ACP Chef Competetion 2003. Also second place in the same competetion.

The IIHMCA spells class at every step. In the very first year of its establishment, the institute held the audience spell bound with its food presentation skills at the Culinary Competitions conducted at the ITC Hotel Grand Kakatiya Sheraton, Hyderabad by the Association of Catering Professionals. Almost every News Paper in town carried a feature on the outstanding show performed by the institute’s chefs.

In the second year the Students team won a Gold Medal and three Silver Medals at the National Level Students Chef Competitions conducted by the Taj Group of Hotels at Christ College, Bangalore. The institute also was awarded the “Best Presentation” of the event for its outstanding food display.

The IIHMCA students also won the Second Place in Continental Cookery at the Annual Chefs competition conducted at Hyderabad by the ACP. It also won the 3rd place at the French Chef competition conducted by the Alliance Français, Hyderabad, all in the academic year 2002-2003.

The performance of our students was acknowledged and well appreciated by the Taj Group of Hotels and they have absorbed almost the entire first batch of our students in to their group at Bangalore and Hyderabad for their Industrial Training.

By the end of the current academic year the entire first batch of the institute will be absorbed into major groups. The institute has standing invitations from leading hotel groups for placements of its students. The accomplishments and the credibility that the institute has reached with the industry are far fetching in building great careers for its student.
