The IIHMCA
staff believe in learning through a three-step
process. The first step is comprehensive instruction
to understand the why, often-called theory.
Understanding why you perform a process allows
you to be more experimental and more creative.
The Second phase is demonstration and application.
Watch a Qualified chef draw on his years of
experience to show you exactly how to perform
a process. Then, you practice it under the chef's
helpful and caring attention.
The third phase is proficiency, often called
mastery. Our chef instructors will give you
the time and personal attention you need to
perfect your culinary skills.
The IIHMCA curriculum is intensive,
rigorous and thorough. At graduation, you can
be assured the skills, knowledge and work ethic
you gained here will give you the competitive
edge for a lifetime of advancement.
