TAJ SATS is around 3 ½ years old in India and is a joint venture between Taj and SATS which is the acronym for Singapore Airport Terminal Services. SATS is primarily an Air Catering Company based out of Singapore and they are also responsible for other areas such as hygiene of aircraft, security, check-ins and ground handling arrangements in Singapore. SATS has a joint venture in 7 countries including India. Out of India, TAJ SATS handles around 56000 meals per day which includes airline catering units and airport lounges in the major metros of India. We have one of their Senior Vice President based in Mumbai whom we report to and at Delhi we have a General Manager in the Delhi Flight Kitchen. Whenever we need any expertise or advice, whether it is regarding kitchen equipment or cuisine or any catering related matters we can seek their assistance for the same
