Indian Institute of Hotel Management and Culinary Arts is a personification of the endeavors of a hard core group of hospitality professionals with years of extensive exposure to some of the finest hotels in England, India, Srilanka and Cruise liners from Europe and America. IIHMCA is one of the Top Hotel Management Colleges in Hyderabad , India and is to provide world class training to its students and provide them with excellent career opportunities in the hospitality industry across the country and the globe. The institute is housed in a spacious Campus of 40,000 Sqft of built-up area with state of Art Kitchens and infrastructure comparable to International Standards.

The Institute offers Bachelors Degree in Catering Technology and Culinary, (BCT&CA) which is affiliated to Osmania University. The program is designed to prepare culinary professionals with the technical skills, management training and exposure to the culinary arts that creates a well balanced individual with many opportunities for career growth. Our graduates are prepared for immediate entry into a growing job market as proficient chefs.

Mission

The IIHMCA is committed to providing its students with theoretical information and practical experience that will give them strong foundation in culinary fundamentals and hands-on skills. This enables them to obtain employment in the industry and to meet or exceed the expectations of employers.

Philosophy

The IIHMCA staff believes in learning through a three-step process. The first step is comprehensive instruction to understand the why, often-called theory. Understanding why you perform a process allows you to be more experimental and more creative.
The Second phase is demonstration and application. Watch a Qualified chef draw on his years of experience to show you exactly how to perform a process. Then, you practice it under the chef’s helpful and caring attention.

The third phase is proficiency, often called mastery. Our chef instructors will give you the time and personal attention you need to perfect your culinary skills.

The IIHMCA curriculum is intensive, rigorous and thorough. At graduation, you can be assured the skills, knowledge and work ethic you gained here will give you the competitive edge for a lifetime of advancement.

Team Profile

Chef Gowtham Kumar Karingi

Celebrity Chef of U.K. Chef Gowtham was the former Master Chef of Zaika Restaurant, London and Executive Chef of Utsav Restaurant, London and he has hosted series of Cookery Shows on Sony Entertainment Television.

Chef Kishore Reddy

Former Master Chef of the Lanka Oberoi, Sri Lanka, author of the renowned book “Regional Indian Food”, promoted by the Oberoi Hotels, Chef Kishore Reddy was also Master Chef of the Oberoi Hotels, Mumbai.

Kishore Reddy heads multiple Sri Lankan companies as Managing Director and holds leadership roles in the Sri Lanka India Society and Indian CEO Forum. Advising the BOI, he fosters business, cultural, and tourism ties between Sri Lanka and India. Kishore also mentors young professionals and organizes events with the Indian High Commission to bolster bilateral relations.

PRAKASH NAG IVATURI

ADVISOR to the Board, Guide and Mentor to the Students Of IIHMCA.
Prakash began his career in the hotel industry, a gold Medalist in the MT Program, and rising through the ranks in a short span of 10 years to become a General Manager and Regional Trainer. This journey provided him with invaluable experience in leadership, customer service, and operational excellence. He is a soft skills and etiquette coach, advising industry leaders and guiding cross-industry businesses toward sustainable success.

Over the years he has transitioned into the business and entrepreneurship sector, focusing on strategic growth and market expansion. Currently based in Dubai, he operates across international markets working with clients to transform and thrive in a rapidly changing landscape. Prakāsh is also an Actor and Podcast Host.
