I am thankful to all the teachers of IIHMCA, Habsiguda, Hyderabad from the Bottom of my heart. Whatever I am today it is due to the teachers and chefs of IIHMCA. I was a Mud and invaluable when I join IIHMCA in the year 2006, the teachers and chefs of IIHMCA turn the mud into a clay pot in the year of 2009. I always feel proud, grateful and thankful to God that I was a student of IIHMCA from 2006-2009. It gives me great pleasure to say with pride that I have completed my graduation from IIHMCA. Currently I am working as a Sous Chef at Novotel Varun, Vishakhapatnam. The relationship between faculties and students is very cordial, which gave me an opportunity to excel in my area of interest. I really enjoyed my education days at IIHMCA. The place which groomed me to be a professional. Currently I am working for Atlantis the Palm, Dubai as sous chef, all thanks to the wonderful campus interview. I have got the job offer while I was still in my third year. The institute is the place where I have found staff, faculties and management as one big family. Lot of personal touch is given to individuals.

IIHMCA is a great place to study and to spend Graduation years. My life has transformed and I have gained so much of confidence while interacting with faculties and principal. Through campus recruitment, I was selected for The Atlantis the Palm, Dubai. Today I am working as Sous Chef for Hilton Garden Inn, Birmingham, UK, taking care of entire banquets and Indian speciality Kitchen. All the credit for my career goes to IIHMCA for turning me from a simple village kid to a thorough professional.

The placement activities are pretty good and come with a training given on how to conduct oneself and face interviews confidently. My experience of 3 years in the college
- Indian institute of hotel management and culinary arts College in Hyderabad is a great place for learning and developing your Culinary Skills, College provides quality teaching with experienced faculty who are determined and passionate about careers of their students.
- In three years of my study I learned the hotel operations and specifically advanced culinary operations including both Regional and International cuisines.
- Apart from specialization in the Hot kitchen, college also emphasizes on in-depth study of Bakery and Patisserie. The High-end tools and equipment gives us the required exposure in the International Confectionery Lab.
- The faculty is concerned about future and career of their students and provides with best help and assistance.
I will always have a very sweet memory with our college. The time I have spent here will remain as an inspiration for my entire life. The environment of the college is very good. I feel very lucky to be a part of IIHMCA.
The college is well equipped with excellent infrastructure like – 11 world-class kitchens/Bakery & Confectionery Labs, 2 Training Restaurants and 1 Real-time Restaurant, Front Office & House Keeping labs, spacious classrooms, library, etc..
Atmosphere is very healthy and competitive, the faculties are very helpful and available all the time when in need.
It has given me many opportunities to participate in State Level and National Level Competitions where I have proved my caliber.

We have top notch kitchens which are headed by experienced faculty, we have a large library with more than 5000 books for our reference, Wifi is available in the institute, we have sophisticated Cruise Galley kitchen which is class apart for the aspiring chefs who want to pursue their careers in cruise lines, apart from that to understand the practicality of hospitality industry we have Training Restaurants, Guest bedrooms, Front Office labs, e-Library etc.
Our institute has been giving International placements to students in Cruise liners like P&O Cruises-UK, Costa Cruises-Italy, Princes Cruises-USA MSC Cruises-Europe, Hotel Atlantis the Palm, Hotel Moven Pick & Hotel Jumeirah Beach-Dubai, Apart from international placements renowned hotel groups like Taj Group of Hotels, Oberoi, Marriott, IHG, ITC, Accor, Hilton etc. to name a few. We are also trained on life skills and personality development.
The faculty are very supportive in honing our skills and talent. We have been given equal importance on practicals which accounts to about 65% and theory which is about 35% which has given us a strong foundation for our future. IIHMCA has given me opportunities to participate in various competitions which helped me to learn and explore new things in the world of Hospitality and helped me grow as a Budding Hotelier. I have great memories here along with my pals, I’ll surely miss this place.
